I have been working as an Assisted Living CNA at The Village at Gainesville since January, 2021.

My responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including eating, transferring using assistive devices, bathing, dressing and grooming, and taking medication, while preserving resident dignity, privacy, and independence
• Documenting vitals and resident behaviors, and working with nursing staff to assess major changes
• Collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best care for residents
• Maintaining positive relations with and provides compassionate care to residents
• Received extensive training on working with residents with Alzheimer’s and Dementia
