Gators for Refugee Medical Relief is a student-led organization that focuses on aiding the worldwide refugee crisis through concrete actions, including providing educational resources to local refugee populations to ease their transition to the U.S., financing emergency humanitarian aid to refugee camps abroad, and raising awareness in the Gainesville community.

As the President of Gators for Refugee Medical Relief, I:

• Collaborated with board members to assess the direction of GRMR and develop short and long-term goals, plans, and strategies.
• Ensured all actions and decisions complied with and prioritized GRMR's mission and the communities it serves.
• Oversaw budgets, staff, and executives, and developed organizational culture.
• Developed and monitored the organization's programs and financial management practices.
• Implemented plans to increase the organization's profitability and progress.
• Created and maintained relationships with the community and leaders.

I served at the Director of Public Relations for Gators for Refugee Medical Relief. While serving in this role I managed the organization's website (featured below), lead a group of assistant directors to manage all social media outlets (featured below), and develop creative projects and campaigns to increase the organization's recruitment and engagement. In this role, I:

Founded, managed, and writes for a refugee-centered blog entitled "Breaking Barriers."

Led a team of assistant directors to manage all of the organization’s social media platforms.

Previously, I served as the Assistant Director of Public Relations. In this role, I managed our organization's Facebook platform, created recruiting materials such as posters and printed or digital fliers, and assisted in other promotional efforts.
