I showed my Nubian Doeling, Maleficent, at the 2019 Manatee County Fair goat show. We competed in the show and showmanship classes, and received blue ribbons in both. Maleficent placed third in her breed class. This was out second show together, and we both did really well. Maleficent stayed calm even though our senior showmanship class was very lengthy.
In showmanship, the judge asked us numerous questions about our goat, showmanship best practices, and goat anatomy. This was my first and final county fair goat show, and it went very well.
