One of my biggest goals when I was chosen as the Director of Public Relations for Gators for Refugee Medical Relief (GRMR) was to start a blog. I am very excited that after many months of planning, research, and work, I published our first post today! The first post was written as an introductory post by GRMR's President, detailing a little about GRMR's history and our plans for the blog. After this, there will be biweekly posts throughout the year, written by various GRMR members and officers, about a wide assortment of topics. Some topics are GRMR related, like a reflection of a past international aid trip, and others will be education in nature, such as about mental health for refugees, maternity care, and information on past and current refugee crises around the world.
